Hello guys, just to say that I am alive haha. Not going to lie it’s been hard to constantly apply for jobs, work as a freelancer, and keep my blog moving. Anyway I managed to sit down after two cups of coffee and write about my apartment, well mine and my boyfriends’ apartment. If you follow me on Instagram you know I recently moved to Czech Republic with Matej (by the way go follow me on insta). Matej is finishing his masters’ degree and I am just trying to survive here, which means we live on a budget.
For me this means that the little we have we spend on decorations, of course he has a different view. Today I want to share couple pictures of before and after. First I have to clarify that we are renting so most of the changes we are doing are more visual (believe me I really want to install new flooring).
We started by covering the baby yellow walls with a light grey fresh coat of paint – too bad we ran out of paint for the living room. And even though we have not even started the living room, we are (I am) super exited about this room.

I changed all the curtains and decor in the small dining and it feels brighter and bigger which is a plus.
My favorite room is the bedroom and even though Matej thinks it’s too white I love, love, love it. I want 2 pictures for over the headboard, but lucky me Ikea is sold out of the 50 x 50 frame so we hang up one and we are still waiting for the second one to arrive.
Pretty much everything here is from Ikea. Nightstand, duvet, pillows, frame and picture.
To make the apartment even cozier we got a cat 🙂 Her name is Cici and she is the most adorable cat in the world.
Like I said we are working on the living room so stay tuned. I’m planning to write a post just dedicated for it.
