Early Thanksgiving Table
This year, we decided to host an early Thanksgiving dinner for our family, and let me tell you – I went all out. I probably spent way too much time obsessing over how the table should look, but hey, it was worth it! After days of gathering inspiration (and shopping trips I probably didn’t need), I finally pulled it all together. If you’re planning your Thanksgiving table, I hope this gives you some fresh ideas!

The Beauty of Neutral Basics
One of my favorites tricks when styling a table is sticking with neutral pieces as the foundation. Why? Because they’re endlessly versatile. You can reuse them for different occasions and simply swap out accents to match the event or season. For this Thanksgiving look, I went with neutral tones and added some seasonal touches to make it festive but still timeless.
Vase vs. Greenery Garland
At first, I couldn’t decide between a lush greenery garland or a vase centerpiece. The vase won because, let’s be honest, I wanted to save myself some time (gathering a garland is no joke!). But since a single vase can feel lonely on a big table, I added pumpkins and candlesticks to fill out the space.
The Plates
My plates are an old favorite – I picked them up a couple of years ago at Tesco, which is basically the Czech version of Target. I loved them so much I bought the set in two colors! To elevate the table, I paired them with gold-toned silverware and wine glasses. (Funny enough, we didn’t even drink wine, but they looked fabulous!)
Name Tags… on Pears?
For a playful touch, I used pears as name tags – yes, actual pears! I handwrote each guest’s name directly on them, and they doubled as dessert for Oli, who couldn’t wait to eat his after dinner. It was a hit!

Get Inspired
If you’re hosting this year and looking for a few items to elevate your table, I highly recommend starting with neutral basics and adding in seasonal details like pumpkins, candles, or even quirky personal touches like pears.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday surrounded by loved ones. Remember, it’s not just about how the table looks (even if we stress over it) – it’s about creating memories with the people who matter the most. Happy Thanksgiving!
